나에게,

You are allowed to enjoy the moment. To look at the photographs and videos. To remember the way he felt. The way he kissed—the way he made you feel. You are allowed to keep the love in the photographs.

Sometimes that is what life is about. The small moments we get to share with someone. Holding hands. Dancing in the snow. A photo booth kiss. These snapshot moments make us smile when they pop up in our minds.

Maybe in the future, these moments turn into something more. A close friend. A lover. A future lifelong partner. Or they could be exactly that. A photograph. A memory every once in a while you look back on and wonder what that person is up to. That's the beauty of life.

Plans Change. People Change. Love Changes. Everything Changes.

My love, allow time to be frozen still. Learn to enjoy this particular moment. Learn to let whatever is meant to happen to unravel. You are on this beautiful life journey. Allow these memories to mend your soul.

So keep the love in the photograph and keep the memories to yourself. It is the only thing we can take with us when we die.

Sincerely,

Me
